Contemporary style, plain, flat wall panelling / dado rail.  The Orac SX163 plain moulding is from the Orac range of multi-functional mouldings.  This means that it can be used as a dado rail, wall panel moulding, door architrave, skirting board or coving.  You can use the same profile for all uses or use varying sizes such as SX168 or SX157 together to create a plain, functional design.  These plain style mouldings are perfect for adding character to modern built homes.

If you are using this as a door architrave, use along with our door architrave – DX163,  which is identical but is supplied in a longer 2.3 metre length.  Using a matching door architrave allows the skirting and the door facing to blend seamlessly together.

The flexible moulding can be used along with the straight panel so only order enough flexible for curved areas.

DESIGN IDEA – Create a contemporary look to your ceiling by combining this flat moulding with our plain ceiling band R66.  Simply install the band in the same way as a normal ceiling rose and then run these straight mouldings at four points to the four internal corners of your ceiling.  Have a look at our design gallery to see this idea completed in a recent project.
