SX163 Contemporary Skirting Board

Medium sized, plain, contemporary skirting board.  The Orac SX163 lightweight skirting is one of our plainest profiles and is part of our ‘Multifunctional’ mouldings.  It can be used as a skirting, door architrave or wall moulding and it’s contemporary look allows the mouldings to integrate seamlessly with one another.  These contemporary mouldings are widely used in hotels, bars, restaurants and retail shopfitting designs due to their ease of installation and sleek look.

Waterproof, impact resistant and primed in a white finish ready for final coat of paint.  Also features a recess at the back in which cables can be hidden.

If you are using this as a skirting – door facing design, use along with our door architrave – DX163,  which is identical but is supplied in a longer 2.3 metre length.  Using a matching door architrave allows the skirting and the door facing to blend seamlessly together.

Also available in a flexible version (2 metre length)  for curved walls and bay windows.  Select the flexible option from drop down menu.

The flexible skirting can be used along with the straight version so only order enough flexible for curved areas.

DESIGN IDEA:  Use along with SX162 to create a higher look to your contemporary skirting board.  Simply place directly above or leave a gap of your choice between the two.  Once painted this will give the illusion of a taller skirting.  Looks lovely with a contrasting colour painted between the gap.
